Ambu – The Dream Walker, is one of those books that makes you forget you're reading. The narrative is so rich in detail that you can vividly picture every scene and truly feel the emotions of the characters. The blend of the harsh reality of slavery, African folklore, and constant plot twists makes the story captivating from beginning to end. I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for an intense, emotional, and impossible-to-put-down read.
I found the book incredibly interesting. Honestly, it surprised me. The story is original, intense, and completely captivating. Once you start reading, you simply don't want to stop. You're carried along like a wave, and you never want to leave. Every chapter is thoughtfully crafted, the story is beautifully developed, and the ending... the ending was spectacular. Thank you so much for this work of art. You're a genius.
A science-fiction work that captivated me with its imagination and its ability to revive old memories — those childhood "fears" born from popular tales about figures from beyond. A book that entertains, moves, and reconnects the reader with the mystery that shaped our early imagination.
The story of this remarkable protagonist begins with a striking astral narrative, enriched by a brilliant development of conflict from beginning to end. In just a few words, this is a truly unique novel — one that powerfully explores the boundless freedom of the human mind.
I absolutely loved the narrative. The writing is smooth, engaging, and very easy to follow. At one point in the book, I started to feel genuinely uncomfortable because of the appearances of certain entities. Since I consider myself a very spiritual person, I became so unsettled that I almost wanted to stop reading. Those creatures gave me a strange feeling of depression and anxiety. Overall, I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who enjoys suspense and horror. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
The moment I opened Ambu: The Dream Walker, I felt a different kind of light in my eyes. I immediately knew I was facing a special story, a book that would stay with me forever. Ambu is much more than words on a page; it is a refuge where imagination comes to life and transports us to a unique world. Characters like Ambu, Mama Gunda, Dedinho, Zuri, and many others stay with us long after reading, each with their own personality and mystery. Even Mr. King and the priest stayed with me in a very special way. The care with which the plot was crafted is remarkable. Everything happens at the right moment, connected by surprising details. The loss of some characters deeply moved me, but I knew they would remain alive in dreams and in the continuation of the story, which only fueled my curiosity about each of their destinies.
